Renasys device was purchased for NIIF SPb.
In June this year upon the request of Saint Petersburg Research Institute of Phthisiopulmonology the Whole World Fund purchased and delivered Renasys device for vacuum wound healing produced by Smith&Nephew Company (USA).

Naima has been successfully operated on!
On 14.06.2016 on the base of the surgical unit of surgery of osseous-articular tuberculosis in children of SPb NIIF Naima underwent surgical intervention: Meningolysis. Segmental resection of 2nd and 3rd lumbar vertebrae. Anterior spondylolysis of 1-4 lumbar vertebrae. Posterior transpedicular spine fixation at the level of 8th thoracic – 5th lumbar vertebrae.

We have opened fundraising for little Naima
Naima was born with multiple congenital abnormalities. Naima’s parents learnt that the child was not healthy before the birth of the girl. Naima was born with a myelocele, internal hydrocephalus, joint myelodysplasia, injury of the CNS. On the second day of her life Naima had emergency surgery: plastic repair of the lumbar spine malformation, installation of a ventricular drain.

Fundraising for Semen has been closed
After the surgery in November 2015 of shin endoprosthesis replacement Semen had a nonhealing wound on the shin, its treatment being complicated by the chemotherapy and decrease in immunity due to that. After the numerous attempts to cure this wound by traditional methods at Hospital No. 31 the decision was made to install an apparatus for vacuum wound healing of Smith&Nephew Company.


90% of children in the Russia are able to recover from leukemia
The executives of Dima Rogachev Federal Research and Clinical Centre of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology at a meeting with the Russian president said, "In the Russian Federation, almost 90% of children suffering from acute lymphatic leukemia are able to recover, and 40% of children have the possibility to undergo the transplantation they need."
Development of Children's Palliative Care
The "Children's Palliative" charitable foundation is launching a regional program subsidized by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation in order to support development of the Russian children's palliative care system.
